Rhema and Logos Revelations

Further revelations about the Logos and the Rhema Word

The bible records the interactions between God and man. It is about the relationship that God has with man, which we read as history, the written Word.

But at the time these interactions between God and man happened, the Word was Rhema. It wasn't  the Past it was the Present. It was the Now Word for that person or group of people.

God spoke into their lives and there was a result: sometimes No reaction, sometimes Rejection and more often Positive Action. The Word of God went out and achieved its purpose, it didn't return to God void, ie without some reaction.

Today we have the Logos Word, the bible, which records that which was once Rhema and it is our Standard, by which all else is measured. But Our Present time is full of Rhema word too.

God speaks to us all the time in many different ways, the question is "do we hear Him and what is our reaction?" Because how we react to God's Rhema word in our life become our personal Logos word: it becomes our testimony and our record of God's interaction with us.

And it is recorded, just as the bible was. It is recorded in concise Spirit language in the Lamb's Book of Life. This is the book that only Jesus can open, no one else in heaven or earth being worthy. But He was made the ransomed one for our sin and by laying down His life for us in selfless love was found worthy to stand before God as our Advocate in the Courts of the Lord.

As our Advocate He can open the Books of our lives, and judge according to the recorded word. Only He can wipe out our sins, covering them with His blood and redeem us from certain death and destruction. That is truely what all of us deserve but He stands for us and says to the Father "This child is Yours, they hear, obey and are covered by my blood" And the Father takes His Son's word and welcome us into His Kingdom.

As we walk with Him in the Kingdom, because it is here and present now, we are writing our testimony. We are writing the "bible" of our personal relationship with Jesus. And He wants to write a good report!  He wants to write "Well done thy good and faithful servant,... enter thou into the joy of the Lord" (Matt 25.21)

So when the Rhema Word of God is present in your life, do you hear and obey?

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he falls, he will not be utterly cast down for the Lord upholds him with His hand     (Psalm 37.23-24)
