Letters From God

King of Glory

We are a kingdom - a Dominion over which we Rule.

When Eve was temped by the serpent he was telling her - she would be a god - like God - ruling and reigning over a dominion. In the Garden, as subjects of the King (God) Adam and Eve were subject to His rule and His ways. There were of course Hugh Benefits but they were not their own masters. When they acted on the temptation, Yes they gained new knowledge they didn't have before but they also lost their citizenship to the Garden - God threw them out. They became rulers of their own kingdom with an inheritance of death and destruction.

Now, when Jesus (King of glory) comes knocking on our door, (Rev3:20) he doesn't break down the door/gate. He waits for the invitation or permission to enter. We, as kings over our own dominion, our selves, must invitie Him in.

The enemy comes in by stealth, without permission. He climbs over the walls or through the breaks in the walls where the defences are weak. He is a robber and a thief, come to take away from us. He took away Adam and Eve's innocence before God and their access to Eden.

When we give Permission/ Invitation to Jesus as the King of glory  He shines His light into our kingdom. And as we allow Him, He becomes our King and annexes our kingdom into His Kingdom.

It is all done by Faith/Trust/Permission on our part. We abicate our kingdom to Him so that, instead of us, He rules and reigns in our kingdom

Our gates are the drawbridges to our selves, the Cities and kingdom we rule and reign over.

Joshua ringed Jericho City with the Lord's praise and Honour and the Walls come tumbling down.

As we praise and lift Jesus up he breaks down our walls

Dream: I heard urgent knocking on my door, "May I come in?"  I hurried over to open it. As I did, a Being of such great white light was there that  I was so overcome, I woke up! (June 8th '16)

Psalm 24:7 -10 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory
