One Body in Christ

The importance of Standing United as One Body, one church before the Lord. We need to build agreement together, to reach out in the love of God.

Because it is the last days, there will be those whose love will have grown cold. But this makes it even more important to pull together in the same direction. Those who don't or won't join together leave behind but gather together those, all those who will, to run as one before the Lord. United in one purpose. Where brethren dwell together in unity there God commands a blessing.

"Cough up and split out the unrighteousness that causes sickness deep within you" It is messy but necessary. Deep in the Body of Christ is a bacteria that robs you of the fullness of the blessing outpouring.

Reach for and return to the purity of the first days church - the unadulterated, undefiled Message of Kingdom Salvation. Look to Jeshua, the Author and the Finisher of your Faith - all you require is there. Strip off and split out all the extras, the embellishments, the frills and the fluff - they are a sickness, a bacteria, feeding on the desires of the flesh - the natural man's need for religion. For rituals and formulas to follow.

But the true religion is without a form that is recognised and pleasing to the flesh. Instead it is pleasing to Me. If I Am to be in control and move as I see fit then I need a people who are mobile and flexible, malleable by the Spirit - seeing, hearing, and following the direction from on high. I need a people who do not judge according to the natural, but who see and judge by the Spirit. There are no "leaders" except the Head. in Acts I moved with individuals as I saw fit - as I saw faith, love and dedication to Me. I did with them as I saw fit - Phillip, Stephen, Barnabas and Paul. They followed the lead of the Spirit.

The body is held together by love and desire to serve God, by trust and faith in Me and by administration by the Spirit. It is not controlled by man (not even the Apostles controlled what happened). It is lead from on high.

We have so long - 100s of years - been under the control of "Christian religious leaders". Many have been raised up by God with Godly revelation. But always in the end they gathered to themselves a movement and built a church, that becomes an institution with man made rules. And people separated themselves into this or that belief system depending on the revelation of the 'leader". Division, controversy and strife - chaos straight into the hands of the enemy.

So when a volcano of Godly revelation set the world on fire, it (the move) would slowly or quickly cool and atrophy - becoming cold and set, immovable refusing to grow from that point forward. As each new revelation was poured from on high the fire of God would move, from this group to that and then over there. So many many versions of Truth immerged each claiming to have the Right and True way.

But I feel in truth that God was/has been increasing revealing of the lost faith that was first delivered to the church in Acts. Each new revealed truth added to the one before and the Body was being encouraged to move and grow in greater understanding, knowledge and wisdom, to build upon the previous revelation, not to stagnate and solidify. God does not order choas but peace, alignment and agreement with Himself as the Head of the church. The image of the church we have now is not a reflection of God but a reflection of man.

As a body is many parts and all are not the same but all belong together and need each other, so I feel we need to embrace the unquiness of our different parts. We will not always see eye to eye, because a big toe has by necessity, a different perspective! But if we carry the testimony of Jesus and are covered by His blood then we stand together united in Him.

This is the unity of the Spirit and the Body of Christ together that commands the blessing of God and is a force that the enemy can not withstand.

1 Cor 12 The whole chapter is about the differences withinn the Body, different functions, gifts and opertions but the emphasis is the oneness of the body as a whole

Jude 1:3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.... 17-20 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,

Rev 12:11 They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
