My Beloved People

Who are the lost sheep? the sheep of my fold, My chosen people who were a joy and the apple of My eye? Scattered and Lost but never forgotten by Me.

Does the sun still raise in the east, the stars still shine in the sky and the moon wax and wane in her seasons? Did I not say that as long as they did would I ever forget Israel, My beloved?

Surely you were a beautiful bride and chosen spouse, but ever a wonton one, who chased after other lovers. So in My fury and anguish I flung you from My marriage bed and scattered you far and wide.

Yet because of My love, I could never forget you and My heart was ever with you. And even in the midst of your abandonment I never forgot you or  truly forsook you. My promises, made to your ancestors, your forefathers, whom You have forgotten, I have not. I have brought them to pass and fulfilled My Word.

Because I Am a faithful loving spouse and a Father, even if you are/were unfaithful. Return to your Lover/Husband, My beloved. Remember and restore the covenant, the marriage I had with you. Know that you are My people. Remember Me, My Beloved,

Return to the Lord, your God and I will raise you up and give you pre-eminence again. Yes I will gather together before Me the faithful remnant, My loyal people. Those who have not stained their clothes with the innocent's blood and follow after strange gods. Who have not spoiled the land with their abominations.

I will bring them back to the land of their father's, the promised land, given to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. THEY will return and rejoice and be glad in Me; They, the chosen ones.

Am I not a God who has a long view and an understanding of generations? You are but ants before Me, here today, gone tomorrow. Your view is small and restricted but Mine is long and wise. But those who have wisdom can learn the long view and see the changing of the seasons and time.

Therefore, return to the Lord's understanding, the long view. I will return My Beloved People to the Land of their Fathers. I will redeem My people Israel and be to them their God again; only it will be the faithful remnant. The chosen Ones, who will surly inherit the land and receive the Promise given.

Repent therefore of your unfaithfulness and forgetfulness. Return to the Lord, that I may fulfill all I have promised and come quickly to redeem My people.

I AM the Redeemer of Israel, the gatherer of the Lost sheep, My Beloved

PS: Behold the stranger who dwells within you, who cleaves to you as Ruth did to Naomi - Is not that stranger taken into My people and becomes a stranger no more but a member of My people? Were not Joseph and Moses' wives non Israelites? And did I not defend their choices and give them a mandate and covering? In fact, My people, look and understand that the "stranger" amongst you has a greater love for Me because they are adopted by choice and not by birth. They know where they have come from and relish the difference.

Jeremiah 31:35-38  NIV  This is what the LORD says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the LORD Almighty is his name:  “Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,” declares the LORD, “will Israel ever cease being a nation before me.” This is what the LORD says: “Only if the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below be searched out will I reject all the descendants of Israel because of all they have done,” declares the LORD.

Ruth 1:14 ...Then Orpah kissed her mother-in-law goodbye, but Ruth clung to her. 15 “Look,” said Naomi, “your sister-in-law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her.” 16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 17 Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.” 18 When Naomi realized that Ruth was determined to go with her, she stopped urging her.
