Works don't Save

It is not by "works" you are saved but by faith

The "works" of the Holy Spirit can only be done by the Spirit filled. They are gifts of the Spirit, that only the Spirit himself can impart and He gives them as He sees fit.

This is why many will come in the day of judgement and say "didn't we do many works in your Name?" They did - but only by the grace and the allowance of the Holy Spirit. And for the benefit of the receiver, not necessarily the giver. The "works" are God's and not the individual's. The true and righteous judgement is in the Fruit of the Spirit. A truly yielded life will demonstrate the true spiritual gifts.

These are internal qualities of character. Jesus himself was the true and perfect example as the fullness of these qualities. He did the works after he had been baptised and received the Holy Spirit. Then and not before. But the characheristics of God were a part of His very nature and person.

That is the measure of who and what we are . Good fruit can only come from a good tree and visa versa. We all have "blips"! (after all if we say we have no sin the truth is not in us). And even bad fruit trees can and will produce good fruit at times.

But overall the essential character of a person will be reflected by the choices, decisions, and actions of everyday life. Because that is a reflection of who we truly are. So let your whole house (all your rooms) reflect the Light of God.

That He may set you on a hill, as a lighted lamp, for His Glory (Not you own)

Eph 2:8-10 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

1Cor 12:7-11 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,  to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills

Gal 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
