Alerts (the world needs more of them)

"In the beginning was the word and the word was with the God and the word was God." When Panin was altered to the presence of the word "the" he noted an anomaly that didn't seem to "fit", a peculiarity, a paradox. It altered him to the possibility of something "to note". This is the same for your life. If there is something that stands out, that is our of the norm, out of sequence - be altered!. Look very carefully.

Moses' burning bush, Joseph's dreams, Joshua and Caleb's different attitude to the promised land. They are signposts, alert lights that are to be noted as significant. Be aware of them. Angels fear to tread where mankind rushes in and get themselves in a pickle. The prudent take note and are wise about the way forward. They test and try the path - don't take it on face value.

Take the Sword of the Lord and use it to prod the ground - to reveal if the appearance of solidity is in fact quicksand. Test it, be wise, proceed with caution - it may be the beginning of a whole new way of living. As it was for Moses, Joseph, Joshua and Caleb. Each of these men were propelled into a new way of life, a new path that changed their lives for ever.

In all these cases the way forward was "of My will". But all things should be examined in the light of the Spirit, the Word of God and the fruit that is revealed. Choice is always given. The way forward is lighted by the Spirit if you are walking in faith and trust. Abram believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness. He acted upon the advice given. He heard it in his heart, he tested it and found it to be true.

Sometimes all the Lord is looking for is a placing of the decision to be taken, to be placed before Him for His consideration. Have you sort His advice in this matter? Don't think it is too trivial, or insignificant and certainly seek Him is the decision is a big one.

By faith ask for His light to shine in the situation and He will be delighted to be consulted. He is a wise Father and a loving one - He won't force His choices on you but He wants to be asked. Notice the burning bush and seek to examine it. He delights in those who listen and hear - as the ones of old did.

Are you prepared to alter your chosen path if required?

"Call unto Me and I will answer thee and show thee great and mighty thing which thou knowest not"

Mat 7:7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Pro 14:15 The simple believes every word,
But the prudent considers well his steps.
Pro 12:23 A prudent man conceals knowledge,
But the heart of fools proclaims foolishness.

Luk 6:44 “For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.

Psa 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.

Duet 4:29 “But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Wikipedia: The line "For fools rush in where angels fear to tread"was first written by Alexander Pope in his 1711 poem An Essay on Criticism. The phrase alludes to inexperienced or rash people attempting things that more experienced people avoid. It has since entered the general English lexicon as an idiom.
